We often take Ben down to the river behind our house. He loves to play in the little puddles around the river.

What's NEW!!
Not too much to report these days. We are having a great summer, enjoying times with friends and family. We spent the day with Wendy, Keith and Eric (Wendy and I used to work together) at Elbow Falls and it was gorgeous there. The boys had a blast playing in the river and even our dogs got along! We are off to Canmore tomorrow with David and Erin and no kids. We are going to relax (well maybe Erin and I will, the boys have some climbing planned) and have some quality time together before they are off again.
One new thing is that I am changing jobs in two weeks. I am going to be a manager at a new branch that TD is opening up. I am really excited about it. It is great to be going to a new branch (no bad habits to erase). I am in the process of finding/interviewing staff now and in Calgary that is not easy but I'm sure it will work out.
I will be sure to post some pictures later this week of our trip and today at the river.

Kate and Peter's Wedding

Kate and Pete got marriend this weekend, so Matt and I got to spend a weekend together in Canmore. We had a blast. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching Ben and thanks to Jenn for watching Titan.

David and Erin are back!! Our friends are back from Russia for a while and we were so excited to see them. They cooked breakfast for us Saturday morning in their hotel room, before the wedding.

Chinaman's Peak - Matt, Mark and David just had to fit a hike into the busy wedding schedule. They climbed this mountain Sunday morning, starting at 630am!!

Ben's first Birthday Party!!

We had a great time having everyone over to celebrate Ben's birthday. It turned out to be a beautiful day.

Wendy's little guy Eric liked the pool more than Ben did. Ben only seems to like it as long as nobody else is in with him. Hopefully he'll get over that.

1 YEAR OLD

Wow, I can't believe that Ben is one!! We are having a party for him this weekend so Matt and I just spent time with him last night. We took a trip to Walmart so Ben could choose a gift (or we could choose one for him). He picked a Dora kiddie pool. We blew it up in the living room last night and even put some water in it and Ben loved it. The bottom is sticky so he can walk around and stomp in the water (not like in the bath tub). It was very cute. I will put some pictures up after the weekend. Not much else is new with us. Things are well.

Finally a picture of Ben. Thanks to Shanna's camera as ours is still broken. Ben is doing well, walking all over and getting into everything. I am back at work now and that is going well. Matt is Mr. Mom and it really suits him.
