Our New House

I have been waiting for a nice day in Calgary to go take a picture of our house....it is taking longer than I thought. I think they said that today should be the last day of this wet weather. Anyway.....We now have a basement and I am really excited. I never thought a basement could be so exciting. They are about 1 month ahead of schedule with our house but that could change quickly. I will put up a picture as soon as I get a good one.

A bath in Nanna's basement.... We spent the day in my parent's back yard and Ben was filthy. He likes to have a bath in my parents big sink. This is a good picture...you can see how much he gets the water moving. Posted by Picasa

Matt took Ben and Titan on a hike last week. I'm not sure where exactly they went but they sure had fun. Posted by Picasa

A cool picture of Titan. Posted by Picasa

Brrrr...Ben looks cold. Posted by Picasa

The next generation of pianists? Just joking...Ben just loves how much noise he can make on Nanna and Grandpa's piano. Posted by Picasa

CIBC Run for the Cure

Well I have started training.... Today was the start of our corporate training for the CIBC Run for the Cure. We only ran for 30 minutes and I made it without a break!!!! I was a little worried but having now seen who else is on the team I think I should be okay.... no offence. For those of you who don't know I am running this with TD's Prairie Region Team on October 1. If you are interested in sposoring me just go to www.cibcrunforthecure.com and click on Donate to a Participant, then you just enter my name and put how much you want to give. It goes to a great cause....my goal is $500 and I could definately use your help.

Camping

Well we went on our first camping trip of the summer as a family. The days were great! Ben had so much fun playing in the water, the sand and generally just being outside. The nights were a much different story (or should I say night). Ben thinks the tent is a giant jungle gym. He was much too excited to sleep and Matt and I maybe got two hours ourselves. I was too exhausted the second day to do another night like that so at the end of it Ben and I headed home. We haven't given up on camping just yet though, we will definately try again. (I didn't have my camera so thanks to Shanna for the pictures, my family will enjoy them :)

One of the best pics of Ben in a while. He even has his own camping chair! Posted by Picasa

Ben had a great time playing the mud. We even made him a mudslide into the water. Posted by Picasa

Sarah and I relaxing in the afternoon. Posted by Picasa

Everyone but Ben and I went for a hike in the hoodoos. It was too hot in the afternoon for Ben to be in the sun. He took a nap in the shade instead. Posted by Picasa

Canmore

We spent three days this week in Canmore with David and Erin. We forgot to take pictures the whole time, except the ones Matt took while climbing. You can check out David and Erin's site for some shots from the bottom of the climb and the other days.

What a view they had. Posted by Picasa

My friend Wendy and I (along with our families and dogs) went to Elbow Falls last weekend. Here are some pictures. We had a great time.
