I have been putting up so many pictures of our little baby so hear is a pic of me and my big baby. He has been snuggly lately, not sure why, but I am really enjoying it.

THREE TEETH IN THREE DAYS

On Thursday I noticed that Jonathan was cutting one of his bottom teeth. Yesterday I noticed the other bottom tooth coming and now today I see one of the top ones! We didn't think he'd be teething for a while, he's only four months and especially being born early. Ben didn't get his first tooth until six months. So far our boys are turning out to be very different.

Sweaters From Scotland
One of my Nan's cousins in Scotland knit these sweaters for Jonathan...they are beautiful.

Attack!


The other day Ben saw Matt watching UFC and wanted to play "ATTACK" too. Worried he would play no matter what we said, we decided to let Ben play but only with Matt. They have such a great time and Matt definately gets tired way before Ben. Hopefully with this outlet for his energy he won't be "attacking" anyone else.

Breakfast Out with Old Friends
Shane and Leila (Leila and I lived together during university) were up to Calgary for a wedding last weekend. We were able to have breakfast together on Sunday. Left to right, Hayden, Leila, Shanna, Sarah, Ben and me.
There wasn't a table big enough for all of us so here is the rest of the crew. Matt, Jonathan (in carseat), Jason and Shane. It was great to get to see them and meet their little one for the first time.

Our Little Dragon

Ben had lots of fun Trick or Treating tonight. Although he never actually said, "trick or treat", he did open his bag at each door and say, "thank you".

Jonathan had a fun halloween too....we pulled out the exersaucer. He seemed to like it, for a few minutes anyway. He is getting to be more and more fun all the time.

Jonathan - 3 Months Old

Jonathan had his 3 month check up this week and is doing great. He weighs 12 lbs 10 oz now. He is growing quite quickly. At 3 months Ben weighed 13 lbs even though he started out 2 lbs heavier.

Pumpkin Fun

Yesterday Ben and I carved a pumpkin. He was very excited although he wouldn't touch the insides. He asked to have a spoon to use to take out the guts. Apparently he's gotten over that though, today I caught him licking the inside of the lid.

Jonathan just loves attention, especially from Matt. He just coos and smiles whenever you stop and just talk to him.

Jonathan is doing really well and growing very fast. He still just fits in the sink to bath him. He loves to spend time on his tummy and is getting stronger every day.
Ben has finally learned to drink from a cup. He can only have it half full but still does really well. Today was his first day wearing underwear. So far, its 1:30pm, we have had one accident.

Daddy's little helper. Matt is still busy with the deck. Ben loves to go out and bang the hammer with him.
Matt took Ben for an overnight camping this week. Ben was so excited to go to the mountains to sleep. That is until it was time to sleep and he said lets go home. All ended well and they came home the next day pretty tired.

Sleeping at Last
As most of you know, Jonathan has had a rough time with his stomach since he was born. We have spent a lot of time rocking, walking, singing....
He finally fell asleep at 2:30 this afternoon and is still sleeping...it is almost 4:00. I thought I should take the chance to get another picture of him.

Brothers...
Ben is slowly becoming less nervous with Jonathan. At first he didn't even want to touch him. He actually said he wanted to hold him the other day. You can see above how nervous he was at first but when I asked if he was done he said "no, more holding". By the end has even smiling, see below. It helped that Jonathan didn't cry.

Some pictures from the last while...
We finally have a park nearby and Ben loves it. He is funny as he won't go on the same thing twice in a row. He goes on one slide then runs to ride on the car then the next slide and so forth. I definately get my exercise walking between them.
Grandma brought Ben back this puzzle that you do on the bath tub wall. It is a huge hit. He does it atleast 5 times every bath. He is pretty good at it now. He apologizes each time he tries to put a piece in the wrong spot.We have been in our new house just over a month now. Matt and his dad have started building our deck. Here they are putting up some temporary supports. They are doing an awesome job. It will be so nice to have somewhere to go outside with the kids.

Finally they meet. Matt's parents left for Ontario 2 days before Jonathan was born. They just got back yesterday and could see their new grandson for the first time.

Some more pictures of the boys. Ben is getting much more comfortable with Jonathan. Instead of getting this strange look on his face when Jonathan cries, now he knows to say "Its okay Jonny".
