Kananaskis 100 Mile Relay Race

We had a great day Saturday watching Matt compete with a team of nurses in the K-100 Relay. During his leg we pulled off the highway every 5 km and waited for Matt to catch up. The boys had a blast cheering for Matt. Matt did great, finishing his 17kms (which was all up hill) in just over 1hr and 34mins.

Erik's dad told him he had to hold someone's hand. He picked Ben. They walked for quite a while like this. Too cute!

Jonathan has been due for a big bed for quite a while. He loves it! I took him shopping and he picked Diego sheets. He was so cute in the store, he carried the sheets all around, looking at them and saying "Wow" over and over.

Ben really wanted Jon to ride with him but Jon was not interested. I volunterred instead.

Visting Auntie Sarah

We went for a visit to Auntie Sarah's new place today. She has been asking Ben to come help her feed the ducks for quite some time now.

I found this otter but still no ducks close enough to feed.

We decided to just feed these geese since the ducks were too afraid of us. It didn't make any difference to Ben, he doesn't know they can sometimes be quite mean. These ones kept a good distance.

Jon took a while to get the whole throwing the bread idea, he just wanted to eat it.
