Caught!!

It it mostly our fault for not storing our food colouring on the highest shelf, but we thought our toilet was leaking and left the blue in the bathroom. Of course Jon found it. Thankfully it was mostly on him and actually wore off quite quick. I totally didn't support taking this pic of him, don't want him to think this was something worth rewarding, but now I am glad we have the memory captured.

Matt's First Climbing Injury

Bouldering after work, late one night on the climbing wall in our garage, Matt missed the crash mat. He had x-rays to make sure his hand was okay. It is mostly healed now.

A Day in Kananaskis

We spent Tuesday in the mountains with Jon. He had a room at the Kanaskis Lodge. It was pretty cold (-20C) but we still enjoyed a walk, hot chocolate, hot tubbing and room service.
Thanks Jon for the invite.

After our walk we warmed up in the hot tub and pool. The boys loved it.

My Baby Jon

My baby Jon, growing into such a little boy. There are so many things about Jonathan that make me smile.

He absolutely loves to eat. If anyone is eating he must also eat.
He has two moods, he is either really silly or really grumpy.
He has no fear. He plays very hard and rough. He is very tough and good thing because he gets hurt all the time. (Notice under his lip where he put his tooth into it last week).
He sleeps anywhere, high chairs, chairs, the floor. When he's tired he just goes to sleep.
He loves to brush his teeth, or have his hair combed.
He watches for you to turn your head so he can sneak off to get into something FUN. (spread diaper cream into the carpet, lick Daddy's deodourant, climb in the dryer, eat dog food, climb on the stove, dive off the back of the couch, push all the computer buttons at once)
He has had to have emergency help 3 times already (neighbour to release his leg from his crib rails, Daddy to help him to keep breathing, and most recently 911 when he was choking).

I am so thankful and lucky to have a son who keeps life interesting and reminds me that each day is precious.
